Washington D.C. police have launched a full on investigation after a “white substance” was sent to former President Barack Obama’s office.

Daily Mail reported that the substance was discovered at around 12:30 pm in a letter that was delivered from Hong Kong. Fire and EMS Battalion Chief Edward Smith said that he believes the substance to be baby powder.

It has not been revealed whether Obama was in the office at the time. He has been leasing the office space since he left the White House in January of last year. The office is in a building that is owned and the headquarters for the non-profit World Wildlife Fund.

This comes just one day after Vanessa Trump was rushed to the hospital after opening a letter addressed to her husband, Donald Trump Jr. The letter contained a suspicious white powder along with a note that read, “You’re an awful person and now you get what you deserve.” She was taken to the hospital as a precaution, as police eventually found that the substance was corn starch.

“Thankful that Vanessa & my children are safe and unharmed after the incredibly scary situation that occurred this morning. Truly disgusting that certain individuals choose to express their opposing views with such disturbing behavior,” Donald Jr. wrote on Twitter.

“The Secret Service and our law enforcement partners in New York City are investigating a suspicious package addressed to one of our protectees received today in New York, New York. This is an active investigation and we cannot comment any further,” the Secret Service said in a statement.
